Provo City Housing Authority (PCHA) RAD Conversion & Portfolio Redevelopment

BBA recently led the design and delivery of a landmark $28M affordable housing initiative for the Provo City Housing Authority. This complex portfolio redevelopment encompassed 220 units across 16 diverse sites, providing high-quality housing for elderly, disabled, and low-income family populations.

The project accommodated a wide range of building typologies, including single-family homes, duplexes, fourplexes, townhomes, and 3 & 4 story midrise buildings. These typologies were comprised of 19 unique layouts ranging from single-family homes and townhomes to 4-story mid-rise buildings. Two flagship mid-rise facilities serve as community hubs, integrating residential units with administrative offices, maintenance operations, commercial kitchens, and communal gathering spaces.
